Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in broadly syndicated loans and/or private credit, including strong knowledge of loan operations and post-trade workflows.
  • 7+ years of experience in product management (or closely related product leadership roles), ideally in financial technology, post-trade, or workflow automation.
  • Demonstrated ability to define product strategy, communicate vision clearly, and connect delivery priorities to broader business objectives and market trends.
  • Proven track record delivering product enhancements from concept to launch, including post-launch measurement, iteration, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience gathering and prioritizing requirements (customer interviews, user stories, acceptance criteria) and producing clear product documentation.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including ability to build consensus across groups with competing priorities and secure senior-level alignment.
  • Experience using KPIs and data-driven insights to drive prioritization, assess impact, and improve outcomes.
  • Experience leading and developing others—coaching, empowering, and holding teams accountable for outcomes across a distributed environment.
  • Strong communication, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate conflict constructively and influence across functions.
  • We require all candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.
Responsibilities
  • Set product vision and strategy for the ClearPar portfolio, linking near-term roadmaps and delivery to a longer-term platform direction and business outcomes.
  • Monitor external market trends (broadly syndicated loans, private credit, post-trade/operations, regulation, and competitive landscape) and translate insights into scenarios, options, and investment recommendations.
  • Build, maintain, and communicate a prioritized product roadmap; secure alignment and buy-in from senior leaders and key stakeholders across the enterprise.
  • Lead discovery and requirements definition: customer interviews, workflow mapping, user stories, acceptance criteria, and clear product documentation that supports scalable delivery.
  • Partner closely with Technology to execute delivery using agile practices (Scrum/Kanban), ensuring timely, high-quality releases and measurable outcomes.
  • Define and manage product KPIs (adoption, client outcomes, operational efficiency, quality, revenue enablement), using data to validate decisions and continuously improve.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex client, product, and delivery issues—driving resolution while maintaining quality standards and stakeholder confidence.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a globally distributed team: set clear objectives, establish accountability for outcomes, and foster collaboration, continuous improvement, and strong communication.
  • Adapt communication style to effectively influence technical and non-technical audiences, respond constructively to adversity, and build consensus across competing priorities.
  • Collaborate across business units and geographies to incorporate diverse perspectives and ensure solutions align to broader Enterprise Solutions and S&P Global strategy.
  • All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior experience with ClearPar, Loan Platforms, or comparable loan settlement / loan processing / servicing platforms.
  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA or equivalent).
  • Experience building business cases for platform modernization, workflow digitization, and/or scalable operating models in post-trade.
  • Demonstrated expertise across more than one specialty area (e.g., syndicated loan operations + product leadership, or product + data/analytics), with the ability to coach others on complex topics.
  • Experience working with global clients and partners across regions, incorporating diverse perspectives into roadmap decisions.

The company’s goal is to enable better decision-making, risk management, and growth for its clients while upholding corporate responsibility and sustainable practices.

S&P Global, Cambridge Associates and Mercer launch private markets datasets for credit and real assets

S&P Global has launched the S&P Global, Cambridge Associates, Mercer Private Markets Performance Analytics datasets, the first release from a collaboration announced in 2025. The datasets provide standardised data across thousands of funds in private credit and real assets, with private equity datasets following later in 2026. Powered by S&P Global's iLEVEL platform, the datasets use a proprietary taxonomy to standardise, aggregate and anonymise data, enabling investors to compare performance, manage risk and assess portfolio impacts. The service supports both limited partners and general partners in analysing performance and making allocation decisions. The datasets are now available globally, with use cases including portfolio monitoring, risk management and competitive insights. Future releases will include data feed APIs and integrated software solutions.

S&P Global shares drop 22% despite 54-year dividend streak and $14B revenue

S&P Global Inc. has declined roughly 22% over the past six months despite generating over $14 billion in annual revenue and maintaining a 54-year dividend increase streak. The decline reflects market concerns around AI disruption and uncertainty from its IHS Markit integration. The company operates across five segments—Market Intelligence, Ratings, Commodity Insights, Indices and Mobility—with largely recurring revenues. Its competitive advantage stems from network effects, regulatory entrenchment and proprietary data, including assets like CARFAX. The credit ratings division operates within an oligopoly alongside Moody's and Fitch. Analysts from Compounding Dividends highlight secular tailwinds from rising global debt and passive investing growth. Whilst risks include regulatory scrutiny, issuance volatility and AI disruption, the company's entrenched market position and data advantage present a compelling long-term investment case.

Micron Technology and S&P Global: Two growth stocks that could double your $2,000 investment

S&P Global, a finance-focused company with credit rating and market intelligence businesses, has averaged annual returns of 16.6% over the past decade. The company owns the S&P 500 index and operates the world's largest credit rating service. The stock has declined 18% recently following weaker-than-expected management projections. However, S&P Global is spinning off its Mobility segment, which includes CarFax, to generate funds for growth whilst focusing more on its core financial businesses. Micron Technology, a semiconductor company specialising in memory and storage chips, has averaged nearly 45% annual gains over the past decade and surged over 300% in the past year. Second-quarter revenue tripled year-over-year driven by strong AI-related demand. The stock trades at a forward price-to-earnings ratio of 12.0, slightly above its five-year average of 11.4.

S&P 500 drops below 200-day average as oil surges to $112 amid Middle East escalation

The S&P 500 fell below its 200-day moving average for the first time since May 2023 as US stocks declined on Thursday amid surging oil prices and escalating Middle East conflict. The S&P 500 dropped 0.7%, whilst the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.8% and the Nasdaq Composite slid 0.8%. Brent crude rose 4% to $112 per barrel, and West Texas Intermediate climbed nearly 1% to $97 following attacks by Iran and Israel on energy facilities in Qatar and Iran. President Donald Trump threatened retaliatory strikes if further damage occurs. Micron Technology shares fell 4% despite beating analyst expectations with revenue of $23.86 billion and adjusted earnings of $12.20 per share. Analysts attributed the decline to profit-taking.
