Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree is required, or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience in sales, client coverage, or relationship management within payments, treasury services, transaction banking, or adjacent financial services.
  • A proven track record of leading large, distributed sales teams to exceed sales, revenue, and liquidity targets across complex corporate and public sector segments.
  • Deep understanding of the bank segment in the countries of coverage, with strong familiarity with payments, liquidity, receivables, payables, trade, and related solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across product, compliance, risk, legal, and operations while applying strong risk management, regulatory awareness, and client-centric decision-making.
  • Experience building high-performing teams, developing talent at all levels, fostering an inclusive culture, and driving accountability through clear goals and coaching.
  • Proficiency in English, Arabic, and French is required.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute the EMEA client coverage and sales strategy across banks and financial institutions for assigned countries.
  • Own achievement of sales, revenue, and liquidity goals for Global Payments & Trade in assigned countries, including pipeline development, conversion, and disciplined sales management.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing regional team of Client Executives and Sales professionals, driving talent development, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Enhance BNY's brand and market presence through strategic client engagement, thought leadership, and partnership with marketing and communications; set and execute the client engagement strategy for target segments.
  • Partner with Service leaders to deliver strong client experiences, accelerate issue resolution, and improve client satisfaction and retention.
  • Partner across BNY's product, compliance, risk, legal, finance, and operations functions to originate, qualify, and deliver holistic solutions while ensuring adherence to risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
  • Build and leverage senior relationships across BNY's business lines and with external stakeholders to expand wallet share, cross-sell, and drive multi-line collaboration for enterprise growth.
  • Establish and track segment-specific KPIs, including new client wins, cross-sell penetration, net promoter score and client satisfaction, sales cycle velocity, liquidity mobilization, and retention, while ensuring disciplined governance and reporting.
