  • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in business administration, contracts, or related field
  • Five (5) years of related experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to operate independently in contract administration
  • Strong working knowledge of the FAR, DFARS, related supplements, and TINA
  • Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance
Responsibilities
  • Negotiates, executes, and administers primarily Firm-Fixed Price contracts
  • Participates in the preparation, negotiation, acceptance, and management of government and/or commercial contracts
  • Reviews and approves all contractual documents
  • Independently negotiates with the customer regarding various issues
  • Advises management of contractual rights and obligations
  • Performs complex specialized assignments of contract administration
  • Facilitates the negotiation, award and appropriate documentation of awards subject to the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA)
  • Interfaces with senior customer representatives and auditors
  • Identifies risks and obstacles to achieving business goals
