Requirements
  • College Degree - Bachelors Level - Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or the equivalent in experience
  • Advanced computer software skills, including skilled advanced Excel modeling and Pivots
  • Demonstrated success designing sales incentive programs
  • Proven success in complex sales compensation issue resolution
  • Superior analytical ability to evaluate high volumes of data
  • Act with a highest level of integrity and sensitivity, especially working with people data
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong presentation skills
Responsibilities
  • Leads sales job evaluations and market benchmarking across all locations; supports annual and periodic review of sales jobs against current market data
  • Analyzes and supports the design and administration of sales incentive programs, including base pay, long and short-term incentives, and spot bonuses that align with Company objectives. Must effectively partner with Sales Operations, HR, and Finance
  • Governs internal sales job structure and leveling hierarchy, ensuring that all jobs are leveled and fit within established career paths; adopts to evolving business needs
  • Serves as internal consultant and key liaison during the annual sales incentive review cycle to ensure streamlined planning process, comprehensive and inclusive approach, and thorough execution
  • Sponsors newly established sales compensation practices and processes, partnering cross-functionally with critical team players and business leaders
  • Provides guidance and direction to managers, supervisors, and HR Business Partners on sales compensation related processes and issue resolution, partnering with appropriate stakeholders as needed
  • Completes an internal comparison of employees to market data and recommends salary adjustments, as needed
  • Supports Compensation team with salary survey participation to completeness and accuracy, as required/necessary
  • May assist with compilation of monthly sales compensation reporting, incentive forecasts, and assist with budget preparation related to sales compensation, as required
  • Assists in general Compensation activities, plans and programs, as relevant and needed
  • Ensures compliance with organizational policies and procedures, and adherence to local and federal requirements
  • Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested
  • As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk
