Chief Financial Officer – Grand Rapids, Michigan
DISHER is partnering with a motorcycle manufacturer in Grand Rapids, Michigan to fill their Chief Financial Officer position. In this role, you will will act as a key strategic partner to the CEO and senior leadership team, oversee all financial operations, and ensure the company’s long-term financial health and stability.

What you’ll get to do:
- Serve as a strategic financial partner to the CEO and senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations to support business objectives
- Participate in strategic initiatives, including fundraising, acquisitions, and capital allocation decisions.
- Lead financial strategy, planning, and forecasting to align with company goals and product development timelines.
- Manage relationships with lending partners, ensuring optimal capital structures and compliance with loan agreements.
- Drive the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Manage Tax Planning & Investment Allocations.
- Oversee year end preparations, external CPA engagements, and manage the annual financial statement review.
- Lead forward-looking financial modeling to assess liquidity, future cash needs, and financing options.
- Collaborate with operations teams to improve inventory management and production cost accounting.
- Develop internal financial controls to mitigate risks and safeguard company assets.
- Provide leadership in building out the company’s HR function.
- Support process improvements and help scale operations to meet market demand.
What will make you successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- 10+ years of financial leadership experience, ideally in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
- Strong background in capital management, lending relationships, and external financial reporting.
- Expertise in cost accounting, New Model Development allocation, and inventory management for production-based businesses.
- Demonstrated ability to lead financial planning and analysis for a growing company.
- Experience working with ERP systems and implementing financial controls.
- Proven track record of supporting business growth and scaling operations effectively.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience building finance and HR teams.
