Elovate provides automated traffic enforcement systems for public safety and municipal efficiency. Its products include data-driven speed and red-light monitoring that automatically detects violations using sensors and cameras, with evidence processing and integration for issuing notices. The company partners with transportation departments and local governments to deploy and maintain these systems, typically under long-term collaborations that cover installation, operation, and support. Unlike some competitors, Elovate emphasizes enduring public-sector relationships and unbiased enforcement, pointing to a proven history such as North America’s first statewide automated speed program and numerous red-light programs across regions. Its goal is to reduce traffic violations and improve road safety by delivering scalable, reliable enforcement solutions that help create safer communities.

Recap: Elovate at IACP 2025 - Innovation, Safety, and the Road Ahead

Recap: Elovate at IACP 2025 - innovation, safety, and the road ahead. Elovate just wrapped up its biggest tradeshow of the year, and what a ride it was - pun intended. From October 18 - 21, Elovate hit the floor at the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Annual Conference & Exposition in Denver, Colorado, joining thousands of public safety leaders, technology innovators, and enforcement experts from around the world. This year's event marked a major milestone: its first IACP under the Elovate brand. With a 30+ year legacy behind Elovate and a bold, tech-forward vision ahead, its team of eight made the most of every moment - connecting with partners, learning from other vendors, and showing the industry what Elovate is all about. What Elovate brought to the table. * Automated speed and red-light enforcement solutions * Work zone speed enforcement * One of its cameras and its functionalities The booth came with its new brand look and feel that reflects its mission: to bring trust, fairness, and innovation to public safety. Elovate were proud of its eye-catching visuals, displays, and giveaways (refreshing gum, very popular traffic-cone stress relievers, wireless chargers - and yes, a YETI cooler draw). As a team, Elovate made sure to spark conversations and make memories. But most important was the opportunity to connect with current clients, municipal leaders, hardware partners, and new faces in law enforcement who are shaping the future of traffic safety. The team behind the booth. Eight team members from across North America, including Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success, represented Elovate in Denver. Together, Elovate brought a mix of long-standing, deep expertise, fresh perspectives, and a shared passion for creating safer streets. From quick booth chats to in-depth conversations to team dinners, the energy was high and contagious. Elovate especially valued feedback from its partners in Rockville and Takoma Park, and its chats with jurisdictions navigating new legislation like North Carolina's Bill 391, which expands red-light and speed camera use in the state. What Elovate saw, heard & learned. Beyond the booth, IACP 2025 gave Elovate a front-row seat to where its industry is headed: * Drone monitoring, AI driven safety and protection technology and predictive analytics are changing the landscape * Departments are seeking technology that's not just effective, but equitable, trusted, and built for tomorrow. * Municipalities are strongly emphasizing education over enforcement, shifting the narrative from "cash grab" to community safety. As one attendee told Elovate, "It's not about writing tickets. It's about saving lives." Elovate couldn't agree more. Moments Elovate won't forget. It wasn't all business, and that's part of what made it memorable. From the Chief's Night live rodeo and western-style dinner to its own team night out, IACP gave Elovate a chance to celebrate how far Elovate has come - and what's ahead. Elovate also found inspiration in how other vendors approached tech, design, and storytelling. Events like this push Elovate to raise the bar, and Elovate is excited to build on what Elovate saw at IACP. What's next. Elovate left Denver energized and focused. The conversations Elovate had and the needs Elovate heard are going to influence how Elovate approach product development, client engagement, and booth experience for the year ahead. Elovate is excited to reconnect at IACP 2026 in Orlando, and to keep advancing a safer, smarter future for communities everywhere. Until then: thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared their stories, or just grabbed a traffic-cone-shaped stress ball. You're why Elovate do what Elovate do. About Elovate. For over 30 years, Elovate has been a trusted partner of municipalities and state agencies to make their roads safer through the implementation of innovative, data-driven automated traffic enforcement solutions. Elovate envision a world free of traffic-related fatalities, and its aim is to equip you with the tools to bring this vision to life.
