Role​

Smart Contract Developer ​

Education/ Experience​

• Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science or other degrees); ​
• 5+ years in IT or relevant experience, 2+ years in smart contract development​
• Expertise in key smart contracting languages (Rust, Solidity)​
• Understanding of fundamental blockchain principles​

Key Responsibilities ​

• Architecture and design of distributed protocols with an emphasis on security, performance, and scalability​
• Develop and own best practices for protocol upgrades and versioning across different networks​
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and design on the user-facing applications built around our smart contract protocols​
• Mentor other engineers in in-depth Stellar, Solana, Solidity/EVM and Rust topics and best practices​

Key Activities ​

• Write, deploy, and test smart contracts and maintain them in production​
• Write clear and comprehensive documentation for smart contracts, including code comments, user guides, and API documentation​
• Monitor the performance and usage of deployed smart contracts​
• Look to continuously improve development processes​
• Incorporate risk management, quality, security, privacy and safety into smart contract development activities​
• Stay up to date with the latest releases related to Solidity, Stellar/Soroban, Solana, Rust developer tooling, and exploits​​​

• Familiarity with common design patterns in smart contract development, such as factory contracts, proxy contracts, and upgradable contracts​
