Qorvo designs and manufactures radio frequency (RF) semiconductors and modules for mobile devices, 5G infrastructure, defense, and IoT. Its products include RF front-end components such as power amplifiers, switches, and filters, as well as integrated modules built with GaAs, GaN, SAW, and BAW technologies. These components are used by OEMs and ODMs to manage wireless signals in smartphones, base stations, radar, satellites, and aerospace systems. The company also provides foundry services and intellectual property licensing. Qorvo differentiates itself through a broad, multi-technology portfolio that spans mobile, infrastructure, defense, and IoT markets, enhanced by strategic acquisitions (e.g., GreenPeak, Decawave, United Silicon Carbide) that expand capabilities in IoT connectivity, ultra-wideband, and silicon carbide power devices. Its goal is to help customers deliver faster, more power-efficient wireless connectivity across 5G, IoT, automotive, and aerospace applications.

Qorvo(R) Simplifies RF control with SOI portfolio that eliminates negative bias.

Qorvo(R) Simplifies RF control with SOI portfolio that eliminates negative bias. As defense, aerospace, and infrastructure systems demand wider bandwidths, more agile signal routing, and faster deployment cycles, RF designers are under increasing pressure to simplify increasingly complex architectures. Qorvo's new portfolio of silicon-on-insulator (SOI) RF switches and digital step attenuators addresses these challenges with a scalable RF control platform that streamlines integration while maintaining the high performance required for modern applications. By eliminating the need for negative bias rails and reducing reliance on multi-vendor RF control chains, the portfolio helps engineers simplify board designs, reduce BOM complexity, and accelerate design reuse across programs. Supporting broader frequency coverage and flexible signal management, the solutions enable designers to modernize RF control architectures without sacrificing switching speed, isolation, or linearity. For organizations developing next-generation radar, electronic warfare, communications, and infrastructure systems, Qorvo offers a more efficient path to scalable, high-performance RF control.
