Have 2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or its equivalent

Have an understanding of probability/statistics and experience with machine learning algorithms/techniques (e.g. anomaly detection, Kmeans, KNN, logistic regression, random forest, gradient boosted trees, LLMs, etc)
Be able to work productively with team members, identify and resolve tough issues in a collaborative manner
Responsibilities
Analyzing large sets of data to develop and improve malicious bot detection, behavioral authentication and fraud detection
Designing scalable processes to collect, manipulate, present, and analyze large datasets in a production-ready environment
Resolving customer-reported escalations related to bot and abuse products and implementing corrective tuning
Developing working prototypes of statistical/machine learning-based algorithms, evaluating and comparing metrics based on real-world data sets
Working closely with our engineers to deliver code across our platform
Desired Qualifications
Experience with data analysis for security applications and familiarity with Internet protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, and TLS/SSL
Exposure to data visualization techniques is a plus, especially with large-scale platforms like Kibana

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will use statistics/machine learning to develop security algorithms and research emerging threats. You’ll develop tools to visualize and analyze their outputs. Our release cycle will allow taking research and infusing it into products to protect global brands.

Experience with Spark/Pyspark/Scala is a great, but not required • Have an understanding of probability/statistics and experience with machine learning algorithms/techniques (e.g. anomaly detection, Kmeans, KNN, logistic regression, random forest, gradient boosted trees, LLMs, etc) • Be able to work productively with team members, identify and resolve tough issues in a collaborative manner • Good to have: o Experience with data analysis for security applications and familiarity with Internet protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, and TLS/SSL o Exposure to data visualization techniques is a plus, especially with large-scale platforms like Kibana
