Requirements
  • A current Class A commercial driver's license and Department of Transportation medical card are required.
  • At least one year of Class A driving experience is required.
  • A clean Department of Motor Vehicles record, with a current printout from the last 30 days, is required.
  • A clean drug, alcohol, and criminal record is required.
  • The ability to read, write, and speak English is required.
  • The ability to climb in and out of the truck, and to frequently bend, squat, push, and pull, is required.
  • The ability to work in extreme weather conditions, including hot weather, rain, and cold temperatures, is required.
Responsibilities
  • Drive local routes using company Class A semi-trucks in a safe and courteous manner.
  • Communicate with dispatchers about routing and trip updates.
  • Provide friendly and timely pickups and deliveries in a customer-pleasing manner.
  • Maintain all Department of Transportation-required logs and remain knowledgeable about applicable regulations.
