Job Description

Responsibilities

• Issue RFQ, perform competitive cost analysis and negotiate cost with component suppliers, distributors and CMs.
• Track and report key commodities historical and forecasting trend.
• Drive spends and opportunity analyses. Identify cost saving opportunities through the analysis.
• Responsible for timely reporting of KPIs
• Participate in processes/systems improvement for supplier pricing performance vs. benchmark
• Participate in cost reduction projects.
• Ensure cost is competitive while meeting other priority goals, quality and delivery.
• Support business critical events such as quarter ends; this may occasionally require weekend and holiday work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Cost management experience is required.
• 5-8 years of experience in the high tech industry
• Top notch data management skill. Excellent in compile and analyse large data in excel.
• Good in both verbal and written communication in English.
• OEM experience. Experience in strategic procurement, specifically related to component is ideal.
• Ability to work in a dynamic & ambiguous fast-paced environment.
• Flexible in supporting Pacific time zone and Central time zone.
• Travel < 5% a year
