- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related field)
- Minimum 5 years of related work experience
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate may be required
- Proficiency in working with AutoDesk Civil 3D
- Very good knowledge of utilizing Bentley Microstation
- Proficiency in utilizing any other CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering.
- Independently develop and/or supervise the creation of engineering products that meet customer quality requirements.
- Produce typical products such as detailed calculations, drawings, procurement documents, design and installation packages, proposal evaluations, technical reports, and detailed analyses.
- Provide support for other engineering activities as required.
- Supervise one or more subordinates and provide input regarding performance.
- Be assigned to a project or organizational team, or act as a lead engineer for a specific discipline on a small to intermediate size project.
- Provide input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
- Experience in design/engagement in developing major highway schemes, such as interchanges, large signalized intersections, roundabout designs.
- Experience in Bentley OpenRoads is beneficial.
