  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline is required.
  • Master's degree is preferred.
  • 8+ years of professional-related experience.
  • Research & Development (R&D) software development or other relevant experience (4+ years at an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)/related preferred).
  • Experience in Electrical Design is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Japanese is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Manage Software Safe Launch strategies to achieve short and long-term business objectives.
  • Manage Software development and audit processes to meet project timing and requirements.
  • Collaborate with Nissan Technical Center Japan (NTC), Nissan Mexico (NMEX), regional Cross Functional Testing (CFT) members, and suppliers, and track the progress of team output to report results to critical persons supporting Safe Launch to meet vehicle and non-vehicle project timing.
  • Lead resolution of software-related cross-functional issues with other Research & Development departments, other divisions of Nissan (Manufacturing, etc.), and suppliers.
  • Manage identification and definition of software projects, systems, functions, configurations, evaluations, and abnormal cases.
  • Manage lessons learned and recurrence prevention activities and implement in software processes to enhance safe launch with the continuous pursuit of early detection.
