Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience, with the degree in a relevant technical curriculum and experience related to the job duties, or an Associate's degree and at least 6 years of related experience.
  • A Secret security clearance.
  • At least one certification in the area of specialization.
  • Verbal, written, and presentation communication skills sufficient to document complex software developer-level issues clearly and concisely.
  • Understanding of Agile and SCRUM principles and experience working within sprint-based development cycles.
  • Familiarity with and active use of the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Attention to detail when creating, reviewing, and editing requirements, specifications, and recommendations related to proposed solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate with senior management, cross-functional teams, internal and external customers, and end-users.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze and validate user stories, technical specifications, and functional requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Design, write, and execute detailed test cases and scenarios for functional, integration, and regression testing phases.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating with development teams to recreate defects or perform root-cause analysis when needed.
  • Work with teammates, SCRUM teams, software developers, and program management to align on quality goals and project deliverables.
  • Design, execute, and maintain functional test cases to validate that application features meet established requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Assist in developing, maintaining, and executing automated testing scripts to increase test coverage and reduce manual testing efforts.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to provide testing status and quality metrics.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of contract writing.
  • Experience with Jira.
  • SCRUM, Leading SAFe, Test and Evaluation, automation, and/or Artificial Intelligence in Test and Evaluation certifications.
