Responsibilities
  • Lead, direct, and coordinate the daily management of assigned projects.
  • Provide safety leadership by implementing the Bird Safety Program and monitoring the safety performance of the project team and subcontractors.
  • Plan, schedule, set objectives, and control activities during the construction phase in conjunction with the Project Superintendent and Project Team.
  • Supervise and develop project team members through regular feedback, training, and coaching, and complete performance evaluations on time.
  • Administer and manage prime contracts and subcontracts, including negotiating and awarding subcontracts and reviewing and evaluating subcontractor performance.
  • Manage the project budget and billings and work with accounting to ensure timely payment of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Review and analyze costs and identify revenue opportunities.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on the financial and overall performance of the project for Senior Management.
  • Foster and maintain positive relations and communication with clients, consultants, architects, and subcontractors.
