Requirements
  • The candidate must hold a current Licensed Practical Nurse license.
  • The candidate must hold current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification.
  • The candidate must hold current intravenous certification.
  • The candidate must be available to work overtime as needed.
  • The candidate must be available to work weekends, including Saturdays and/or Sundays, as needed.
  • The candidate must have a strong focus on patient care and patient experience.
  • The candidate must be able to function independently and as part of a team.
  • The candidate must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • The candidate must be able to sit or stand intermittently for an 8- to 12-hour shift.
  • The candidate must be able to push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, including Joint Commission accreditation requirements, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
  • Perform Licensed Practical Nurse clinical tasks, including correctly administering medications, setting up sterile fields, and disinfecting and sterilizing equipment.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately, thoroughly, and on time according to company standards.
  • Communicate daily clinical and surgical schedules effectively with physicians, Medical Assistants, Patient Coordinators, and other team members, and anticipate needs appropriately.
  • Document clinical and surgical chart notes appropriately and accurately.
  • Provide the highest level of patient care and patient service at all times.
  • Follow policies and procedures consistently to ensure positive patient outcomes.
  • Increase physicians' overall patient retention by providing high-quality patient care and patient experience.
  • Assist in all aspects of the clinical and surgical environment.
  • Complete other projects and duties and assume responsibilities as determined by Clinical Leadership Members.
