  • Previous experience in a direct customer contact position is preferred.
  • Customer service orientation; energetic and outgoing personality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to communicate professionally, effectively, and with empathy in potentially difficult circumstances.
  • Multitasking skills and a detail-oriented focus are required.
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and adjust as needed in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to achieve high productivity and quality standards.
  • Proficient working knowledge of Windows OS, Internet, and associated software.
  • BILINGUAL - English/Spanish a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
  • Receive and process awards.
  • Notate client records.
  • Make multiple follow-up calls to processing centers.
  • The ability to manage your workflow and productivity in the workplace without reliance on a supervisor.
  • Identify areas of learning needed to better manage client cases including SSA processes, documentation, interpretation, and application use (PCMS, Microsoft Office suite, Google Suite etc…)
  • Work with others in the Hearing Department, Pre-Hearing Departments, and in the organization as needed
  • Respond to phone calls as needed to answer questions for clients and on the client’s behalf
  • Ensure appropriate staff are aware of all situations which may involve administrative errors
  • Complete special projects and other assigned tasks
  • Possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
