Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with technical infrastructure (e.g., deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting).
  • 5 years of experience in Linux or Unix.
  • 5 years of experience in scripting or automation using Python, Shell or Go.
  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance with polygraph.
Responsibilities
  • Provide ongoing support for Cross Domain Solution (CDS) systems, including troubleshooting, performance optimization and patch management.
  • Collaborate with security and operations teams to address vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security policies.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CDS architectures, ensuring compliance with government and industry security standards.
  • Develop and integrate hardware and software components to enable secure cross-domain communication.
  • Work with security assessment teams to ensure systems meet required security certifications and accreditation.
  • Conduct testing and validation of CDS systems to verify functionality, security, and reliability.
  • Engage with stakeholders including government agencies and industry partners to identify requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Investigate emerging technologies and assess their applicability to cross-domain solutions.
  • Document designs, configurations, and processes to ensure system maintainability and knowledge sharing.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with configuration automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef, SaltStack).
  • Experience with cloud technologies, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other cloud hyperscaler.
  • Experience with networking technologies with Open Systems Interconnect (OSI) model and, knowledge of domestic and global carrier networks.
  • Knowledge of the trends in the security industry, public policy.
