Requirements
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Valid, current, unrestricted driver’s license required
Responsibilities
  • Assist in scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of lifts and related equipment
  • Assist in maintaining maintenance records
  • Assist in lift operations including operating ski lifts
  • Be familiar with the location of ski lifts on the mountain
  • Know how to turn on and operate the lift controls
  • Run the lift on auxiliary or evacuation diesel engines
  • Manage maintenance tools and equipment
  • Assist in daily preventative maintenance inspections
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors about maintenance issues
  • Update maintenance procedures and maintain records
  • Develop a working knowledge of the Colorado Passenger Tramway Safety Board and American National Standards Institute codes pertaining to ski lifts
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Previous mechanical experience preferred
