As a technology intern, you won’t just be along for the ride. You’ll work with our technologists and business experts to gain practical, hands-on experience that you can actually use. Our program combines traditional classroom-settings with project-based work where you can get involved with the products and services the firm is working on. Along the way, you’ll have guidance from people at all levels of the organization so you can start to build a long-lasting professional network and build relationships with the intern class through interactive outings and projects. 

You will be joining the Backend Developer team, which is responsible for developing and maintaining Tradeweb’s fixed-income trading platform. This team plays a key role in building scalable solutions and extending the platform with new features, primarily using C++, to ensure the smooth operation of the platform and support financial trading activities. 

At the conclusion of your internship, you may be considered for full-time employment, to commence upon successful completion of your degree program.

Internship Requirements

• In your final or penultimate year of an undergraduate or Master's degree in Computer Science,  or related field at time of application
• A passion for C++ development
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and modern C++ features
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Detail-oriented coupled with exceptional problem-solving skills
• Ability to work 9 weeks on-site in Tradeweb’s offices from 30^th June to 29^th August
