About the Role:
We are seeking a Program Manager to lead the development and execution of initiatives that further our merchant-focused culture and promote retail industry acumen within the Uber Grocery & Retail organization. This role will be pivotal in embedding retail principles throughout the organization’s ways of working and maintaining our retailer-first mindset. The Program Manager will also lead global initiatives to continuously improve retailers’ experience partnering with Uber.
What You’ll Do:
- Program Ownership: Develop and implement initiatives that enhance retail acumen, further Uber’s retailer-first culture, and optimize retailers’ experience partnering with our global Grocery & Retail team
- Leadership Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the global Grocery & Retail leadership team to identify and address gaps in retailer needs across markets
- Feedback and Iteration: Continuously enhance retailer feedback mechanisms to maximize their impact
- Workshop Facilitation: Organize and facilitate forums, workshops, and initiatives to deeply embed retail industry expertise across cross-functional teams
- Industry Insights: Leverage both external and internal industry perspectives to maintain a strategic point of view on the retail industry and emerging global trends
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years’ experience in program management, technology operations, digital retail or related fields
- 4+ years’ professional work experience
- Experience leading a program or project end-to-end
- Bachelors degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ professional work experience, preferably with 3+ in end-to-end program management
- SQL proficiency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate diverse teams
- Experience running complex programs end-to-end with very high attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs and drive results in a fast-paced environment
- Experience preparing strategic presentations for a senior audience
- Comfort performing quantitative analysis and communicating data-driven insights
- Experience with the grocery and/or retail industry
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$124,000 per year - USD$137,500 per year.
