Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in partner engineering, sales engineering or systems engineering with at least 5 years managing and directing a team
- Excellent knowledge and prior experience selling network security technologies including but not limited to: HTTP and web related technologies, proxies, caches, firewalls, SSL/IPsec, VPN's, DLP, anti-virus, spam and spyware solutions (Gateway and SaaS)
- Demonstrated success working with Fortune 1000 companies
- Strong customer relationship and people skills as well as strong written communications and presentation skills
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to influence technical decision makers and executives
- Ability to travel frequently
Responsibilities
- Recruit, mentor, and develop the partner sales engineering team
- Refine and scale the partner engineering processes such as champion development, practice building, service offer creation, and sales engagement
- Engage with partner senior technical leadership on strategic initiatives
- Lead from the front with the capability to develop and deliver solution overviews and demonstrations
- Drive the development of strategic partner plans
- Promote products and business solutions at conferences, forums, and seminars
- Collaborate with a variety of internal functional areas
- Provide input on product development or enhancements to existing products to product management function
