Cyber Warfare Range Engineer

Key Role:

Conduct testing and analysis to identify vulnerabilities and potential threat vectors in systems and networks, develop exploits, and engineer attack methodologies. Apply advanced skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members, as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code or VMware
• 1+ years of experience with scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Batch, and Python
• 1+ years of experience with networking and virtualization
• Experience with cybersecurity tools, network configurations, and operational tools
• Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, or STEP
• Knowledge of operating systems, including Windows and Linux, application behaviors, and network traffic analysis
• Top Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience operating in an Agile development environment
• Experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience in a fast-paced environment and working with flexible customer requirements
• Knowledge of penetration testing or red team operations
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineer, Cybersecurity, or Information Systems
• Security+ or IAT Level II or higher Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
