Requirements
  • In-depth knowledge of Collections and Recoveries strategies within the small business lending Space
  • Deep understanding of collections and recoveries, processes, industry best practices and regulatory requirements
  • Experience in small and medium sized business lending
  • Dynamic energy and keenness to improve products and help ship changes to customers
  • Strong communicator with experience in project management and coordination across teams
  • Ability to work well collaborating in a team with diverse skill-sets and personality types
  • Working understanding of the regulations that apply to lending in the UK
  • Highly motivated and energized by the idea of bringing positive impact to customers and Monzo
Responsibilities
  • Building collections and recoveries processes and policies for Business Banking products
  • Shaping and developing customer engagement strategy for businesses in financial difficulty
  • Shaping and developing litigation strategy together with the Legal team
  • Leading the continuous development, implementation, and improvement of processes, structures, capabilities, capacity, and infrastructure
  • Establishing baseline MI to monitor portfolio health and customer outcomes for arrears cases in the business banking portfolio
  • Being the subject matter expert for all things FinHealth related to Business Lending
  • Working closely with Legal teams in building out litigation processes
  • Creating and owning the MI presented to Credit Risk Committee
  • Working closely with teams responsible for Business Banking to ensure the best possible outcomes for customers and Monzo
  • Participating in governance forums and representing the Financial Health function on Business Banking topics
