Requirements
  • Four to ten years of software engineering experience with a track record of shipping production code.
  • Fluency in multiple programming languages, including Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Go, or C#.
  • A deep understanding of modern software development practices, including continuous integration and continuous delivery, microservices, and cloud architecture.
  • Experience with enterprise development workflows, including Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira and the enterprise software development lifecycle.
  • The ability to navigate complex technical environments and stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to audiences ranging from interns to chief technology officers.
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Greater Boston area for this hybrid role.
Responsibilities
  • Deploy Blitzy into complex enterprise environments, navigating technical constraints while delivering immediate value.
  • Write custom integrations and extensions that unlock new use cases for customers.
  • Translate ambitious business goals into concrete technical implementations using Blitzy's artificial-intelligence capabilities.
  • Identify patterns across customer needs that influence the product roadmap.
  • Become a trusted technical advisor to engineering leaders through hands-on expertise.
  • Drive successful proofs of concept that expand into enterprise-wide deployments.
  • Contribute code and insights back to the core platform based on field experience.
  • Embed with customer teams during critical implementations, serving as their technical co-pilot.
  • Participate in customer sprint planning, architecture reviews, and technical decision-making.
  • Build custom solutions that demonstrate Blitzy's capabilities in customers' specific environments.
  • Write production-quality code to integrate Blitzy with existing enterprise systems.
  • Develop reusable patterns, scripts, and tools that accelerate customer adoption.
  • Debug complex issues spanning customer infrastructure and the Blitzy platform.
  • Create technical demonstrations that showcase advanced use cases.

Blitzy, an autonomous software development platform founded by Harvard MS/MBA graduate Sid Pardeshi, has reached a $1.4 billion valuation after securing $200 million in funding. The Cambridge-based startup, which currently employs 80 people, automates code writing, testing, security checks and error fixing for enterprise clients. Pardeshi, who previously spent six years at NVIDIA designing AI tools, co-founded Blitzy with Brian Elliott whilst studying at Harvard. The platform can complete approximately 80% of typical software development tasks, allowing human engineers to focus on strategy and conceptualisation. The company plans to expand to over 300 employees and strengthen partnerships with laboratories and cloud service providers. Blitzy is the second unicorn founded by an MS/MBA alumnus, following Nominal's AI-driven aerospace analytics platform.
