The Role
The Integration Architect is responsible for facilitating proactive support efforts within or across solutions as well as engaging in critical issues of a broad nature. Lead strategic client conversations to determine scope and drive the action plan necessary to improve end user and client satisfaction. Provides technical leadership toward successful IT system implementations, optimizations, and upgrades at client sites. Works independently and in coordination with the efforts of project managers and all other team members. May participate in additional department/functional teams as requested.
Key Responsibilities
The Integration Architect will have the following key responsibilities, which include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for the domain environment strategy and cross-solution dependencies.
- Assists in triaging testing and go live issues for resolution by the proper teams.
- Responsible for supporting client relationships to achieve business objectives.
- Supports issue logging and resolution.
- Pushes change requests to the change control process and tracks delivery of resolutions and issue closures.
- Ensures the end users are contacted to confirm resolutions are in place satisfactorily.
- Additional responsibilities may include coordinating design, system validation and integration activities across solutions and venues of care.
- Provide insight and consultation in team discussions regarding design, build, testing, training, implementation, and support of respective solution area(s).
- Execute successful implementation of design decisions, tailoring applications to meet departmental/organizational requirements and expectations.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge in one or more subject matter areas, such as project management, education, delivery, collaboration.
- Advise on, developing, and adopting standards, policies, and best practices related to Nordic’s Services offerings.
- Manage and complete the development of testing scenarios that correlate with client approved workflows and design.
- Develop and lead internal Nordic projects.
- Engage in projects involving healthcare systems, complex academic or similar medical centers, community-based hospitals, small clinic rollouts, and independent physician groups.
- Design training materials to conduct educational sessions with users to enhance their performance using or supporting specialized software.
- Conduct or assist with detailed analysis to draw independent conclusions and develop pertinent and insightful recommendations by providing key stakeholders with direction and critical domain knowledge.
- Help drive the best outcome for the overall EHR strategy by measuring participant growth, knowledge retention and outcomes.
- May supervise others.
Skills and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration. Computer Science or related field.
- Preferred in computer science or relevant degree.
- May substitute years of experience for education.
- Minimum of 12 years professional experience in applications, infrastructure, analysis of complex business requirements, system upgrades, workflows, and application capabilities, required.
- Deep expertise in Oracle Health strategy and road-map support.
- Prior healthcare IT project-based consulting experience.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
Additional Details
- Ability to travel up to 25% to 50% of the time.
