Requirements
  • Currently studying under a BS degree program in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent
  • Comfortable with the safe use of hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Occasional ladder usage, stooping, bending, twisting, and lifting 50 pounds over short distances in support of prototype and test equipment fabrication

Responsibilities
  • Support test fixture design and test execution for automated door products and accessories
  • Perform hands-on laboratory work which may include wiring, soldering, and electromechanical assembly
  • Operates electrical equipment such as digital voltmeters, oscilloscopes, data acquisition or other test equipment
  • Establish and perform accelerated tests using electric motors, pneumatic cylinders, actuators, or other methods
  • Document test procedures, activities, reports, and other verification or validation activities
