The role:   Solution Design Expert

Infrastructure Design position with 10+ years’ experience, Ideal candidate is expected to demonstrate in-depth data centre & Public Cloud Infrastructure Deployment & Design experience with adherence to best practices wherever suitable.

• Create and lead solution designs for internal customers and help scoping of requirements to meet business needs
• Develop project rationale and perform scoping assessments to determine feasibility of projects
• Ensure overall user experience is taken into account when designing and deploying new solutions and services
• Ensure implemented solutions are according to specifications and fit for purpose
• Ensure designs produced adhere to architectural roadmap and support the development, execution and operations of software/service
• Planning deployments together with Project Managers and Operations Team and deployments between development environments and validation / productive organizations
• Review deployment packages with developers including testing, preparing checklists and scripts for manual deployments and documentation
• Experience in the entire rack stack (e.g. storage, compute, virtualization, containerization, networking for traditional datacentres as well as public cloud)
• Strong work experience in On premises Storage and Connectivity technologies
• Knowledge of OS, network, disaster recovery, high availability, firewalls, load balancers, VPC, subnet, routing, VPN, DNS is required leading DevOps Tools & Technologies
• Knowledge on Docker containers, Kubernetes cluster deployment and management - Linux working experience will be added advantage 

Cloud related services and security measures
• Worked on VMware ESX, Citrix, Dell Storage, Blades servers,
• Experience working on Converged and Hyper-converged platforms
• Expert in IaaS, PaaS solution implementation -AWS
• LAN, WAN, and related networking concepts around Private and public cloud connectivity
• Good knowledge on middleware technologies such as JBoss, Apache Tomcat and so forth
• Understanding of GxP compliance environment would be an added benefit
• Translate the business requirement in a presentable manner in-line with company standards Ensure operational integrity.
• Investigates assigned problems through to resolution or root cause. Coordinates the actions of others as necessary to assist with the analysis and resolution actions for problems and known errors.
• Plays a key leading role in ensuring the successful end-to-end infrastructure solution
• Helps to plan the deployment, during the service design stage of the service lifecycle, in conjunction with personnel from other teams and functions.
• Provides technical and application guidance and support throughout engagement.
• Performs an impact analysis to support the application teams
• Supports the delivery of continuous improvements to the job-related IT service management processes and IT services.
• Will be required to engage with multiple stakeholders at business functional level, understanding security / compliance requirements and proposing the solution.
• Must be able to work on large and complete projects in matrix environment covering wider spectrum of technologies.
• This is not a deployment or cloud engineer position. It is about designing the solutions where previous hands on experience in the related areas would strictly be required. Should provide best-fit quality solutions. Participate in various PoCs to provide solution around leading edge technologies. Organizes, documents, reviews work items.
• Must be fundamentally strong in both Datacenter & Cloud concepts.
• Able to propose various initiative by identifying areas of improvement on proven Subject Matter Expertise
