What You’ll Get to Do:

• Support design and sustainment efforts for a wide variety of platform integration efforts and innovative technologies initiatives.
• Under direct supervision and guidance, work closely with seasoned engineers as well as other interns, on projects that expose them to leading edge communications, command, and control technology.
• Basic software / computer engineering design (with instruction/guidance). Support integration and test events for various projects.
• Data collection, and characterization of circuits.
• Technical writing / technical reports to include development and review of software design description documentation.
• Recommending process improvements.
• Troubleshooting and problem solving.

You will perform work under close mentor guidance including but not limited to:

- Development of software

- Algorithm development and optimization

- Technical report writing

- Cybersecurity controls / implementation

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

• US Citizenship is required to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Currently enrolled in and in the pursuit of a BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university (3.0 GPA in major coursework).
• Experience with high-level programming languages such as C / C++ and Java, source code management tools such as Git.
• Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

• An active DoD Secret clearance
• Broad computer science/computer engineering background including algorithm and data structure implementation
• Experience / interest in Networking, Security, Vulnerability research; etc. Experience with rapid reverse engineering techniques through prototyping and initial production sequence
• Previous internship / co-op work experience
