Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Process, document, close and provide quality control assistance on Small Business Express products generated by Business Banking branches.
  • Facilitate consistent and clear communication between branches and internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Complete LaserPro loan documents in support of Small Business Express products.
  • Accurately execute maintenance of loan files, including documentation and record-keeping in accordance with regulations and organizational standards.
  • Facilitate consistent and clear communication between SBA and internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Complete LaserPro loan documents and track, manage, and resolve SBA documentation requests in support of SBA loan.
  • Serve as a key resource for teammates and other departments, providing guidance and information on small business and SBA lending.
  • Oversee the efficient and accurate processing of small business and SBA requisitions and related tasks.
  • Handle complex quality control issues and situations, providing solutions that align with policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Follow established processes and standards to comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Promptly review changes in policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure processes are being completed accurately.
  • Stay current with industry trends, SBA regulations, and bond lending best practices through continuous education, training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of Currency Transaction Reports, Suspicious Activity Reports and other recordkeeping requirements.
  • Complete and pass all assigned eLearning courses and certifications as required.
  • Avoid all real or perceived conflicts of interest and always maintain client privacy and confidentiality.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Washington Federal Bank, a wholly owned subsidiary of WaFd, has disclosed its agreement to sell some commercial multi-family real estate loans to Bank of America for about $2.9 billion. WaFd said in a Friday (May 17) filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) that the deal involves 2,000 commercial multi-family real estate loans with a current aggregate unpaid principal balance of $3.2 billion.
