Requirements
  • 4+ years of proven experience in project management, renewable energy, or infrastructure, with a strong understanding of supporting financial closings, including construction financing and Tax Equity Financing.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization.
  • Ability to ask appropriate questions, analyze data, identify the root causes of problems, and present creative solutions.
  • Expertise in building strong internal and external relationships with customers and stakeholders, instilling trust and loyalty across the industry.
  • Eagerness to develop a fundamental understanding of how Nexamp operates and then apply that knowledge effectively to inform business decisions.
Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of renewable energy assets, serving as the primary point of contact from NTP through Substantial Completion.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks that could impact project timelines, budgets, or deliverables, collaborating with relevant teams to implement solutions.
  • Facilitate collaboration between development, construction, procurement, and finance teams to ensure alignment across all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Assist with construction financing and Tax Equity Financing by managing documentation, addressing outstanding conditions precedent, and coordinating with internal teams.
  • Ensure projects comply with regulatory, contractual, and operational requirements while providing regular updates to senior management on project progress, risks, and resolutions.
  • Maintain project trackers, financial models, and other tools to monitor and preserve project value throughout the lifecycle.
  • Mentor and manage junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Contribute to refining processes and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and support successful financial closings and project outcomes.
Desired Qualifications
  • Land development, real estate negotiations, solar construction/project management, or solar project development experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with compliance, permitting, and construction processes is a plus.
