About the role 

We’re looking for a Senior Engineer, with a deep love for back-end work but who has experience working on full stack user stories. Pairing on a story works but our sweet spot is with engineers who can tackle some front-end work even if they are back-end focused. We call them T-shape engineers. Strong in one area (here back-end) but have a breadth of knowledge outside of this focus. And if you don’t have the bar on the T just yet, you’re welcome to build these strengths with us!

This role is for an experienced back-end heavy engineer. Today, we work with Java, Kotlin, React, Typescript, GraphQL, & PostgreSQL and if you’re experienced in C#, Go, Python, Node, or whatever language, we’re happy to have you learn with us. While we look to maintain standards and consistency, we aim to choose the right tool for the right task. We grow and evolve as a group and so do our stacks.

What you’ll be expected to do

• Build the product that our customer loves

• Grow your skills on a platform that itself is growing and maturing. Help improve the current stacks. Moving from an MVP to a mature product takes both time and a village :-)

• Collaborate with Design and Product teams (we love them) to make sure we’re working on the most impactful set of features
