Requirements
  • BS or MS in EE/CE/CS
  • 3+ years of testing experience
  • Accepting power electronics graduates with no experience that would like to start a power electronics career through testing
  • Experience in testing and debugging of power electronic boards in the area of power conversion
  • Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, data loggers, multimeters, data acquisition systems, power supplies
  • Identify root cause of failures, implement fixes
  • Working knowledge of electric fundamentals
  • Desired experience with scripting languages (python) or Labview equivalent
  • Proven determination : identifies issues and creates solutions
  • Startup experience highly preferred
Responsibilities
  • Contribute with construction of power stages, including mechanical assembly, wiring/harnessing, electrical testing and PCBA assembly into test units
  • Assist with running manual/automated tests and test scripts
  • Support testing from prototype to production
  • Generate documentation and document test results
  • Perform reworks in PCBAs when required, down to 0603 and low pin count ICs
  • Troubleshoot failures in lab and field
  • Frequently lifting heavy objects weighing up to 40 pounds
