Requirements
  • Program Manager with 9+ years of IT experience, preferably with 4+ years of exposure in IT infrastructure
  • Working knowledge and demonstration of projects spanning across technologies such as server, network, storage, database, and application tools
  • Extensive knowledge of project and program management processes, tools, templates, and management techniques
  • Exceptional problem solving and negotiation skills, with the ability to work across organizational boundaries to drive closure of complex delivery challenges
  • Strong business acumen and technical background, with the ability to quickly understand and communicate technical concepts and challenges across wide-ranging audiences
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with professional confidence and credibility to effectively engage and interact with senior and executive management
  • Customer-focused and solution-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Successful track record of managing large, complex programs that deliver technical solutions across multiple project teams and organizational units that meet agreed-upon business objectives and performance metrics
  • Proven ability to develop effective, matrixed, cross-organization relationships, collaborating and communicating across business and technology stakeholders and multiple geographies
  • Strong technical acumen, able to ensure that technical solutions, strategies, practices, and governance deliver business and customer value
  • Deep knowledge of project management process, project management tools, and management techniques

Responsibilities
  • Drives the coordinated management of large, complex programs over a finite period of time in order to achieve specific business goals. Ensures the timely delivery of business value and the efficient use of organizational resources
  • Partners with Business and Technology leadership to establish a solid understanding of the vision, purpose, and expected business benefits of a program. Ensures measurable KPIs are defined and aligned to company goals and objectives
  • Manages the program-level decomposition of work across multiple delivery teams. Works across organizational boundaries to define program interdependencies and release plans
  • Program Planning & Execution-
  • Create relationships with business & technology stakeholders including architects, development managers, scrum teams, program/project managers, QA, Release Engineering, and Management
  • Manage scope, milestones, and budget across the program to ensure completion of program/project goals
  • Develop and provide direction and guidance to the team in developing appropriately structured and detailed program/project plans
  • Identify and track program/project interdependencies to ensure timely and successful delivery
  • Identify, track, prioritize and drive resolution of program-level issues, leveraging lessons learned from prior experience and work to address and mitigate systemic issues
  • Identify and track major milestones for the program, or key projects in the program(s)
  • Monitor and measure progress to ensure that the projects meet or exceed performance targets, ensuring that teams document the accurate status of the program, projects within the program(s), or external projects that have dependencies. Ensure successful completion of program exit criteria
  • Monitors health of program delivery. Tracks program-level status, risks, issues, and dependencies. Proactively addresses delivery team impediments. Resolves program-level roadblocks to enable successful program execution
  • Communicate timely and accurate status to appropriate levels and stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities for and lead deep dives on key initiatives through program and project reviews
  • Ensure budgets are planned and adhered to
  • Ensure that resources are effectively allocated across the program
  • Manage and refine the process regularly as well as create communication channels to build awareness with stakeholders
  • Gain an understanding of any new technology to lead technical programs and effectively drive discussions/decisions around any technical challenges
  • Drives the integration and adoption of agile delivery practices across delivery teams. Facilitates program retrospectives to identify improvement opportunities. Evangelizes and integrates desired changes in order to enable continuous improvement
