Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of sales experience in rubber additives, specialty chemicals, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of rubber additives markets and their applications in manufacturing preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships and close sales.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to meet with customers and attend industry events.
  • Exposure to systems like CRM, IBP, SAP etc.
Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including tire manufacturers, rubber product manufacturers, and other industry players.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers to ensure the optimal use of our products in their processes.
  • Identify and pursue new leads through market research, cold calling, networking, and attending industry events and trade shows.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including development, marketing, and product management, to align customer needs with product capabilities.
  • Conduct regular customer visits and presentations to understand their requirements, troubleshoot issues, and promote new products.
  • Stay current on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform sales strategies.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to track progress against goals and inform decision-making.
