Requirements
  • Bachelors’ Degree and two (2) years’ experience in data analysis and information reporting relating in healthcare, consulting or insurance industries, OR six (6) years’ experience in data analysis and information reporting relating in healthcare, consulting or insurance industries.
  • Requires knowledge and experience in own function; still acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills.
  • Builds own knowledge of HCSC, business processes and customers.
  • Solves a range of problems.
  • Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures.
  • Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction.
  • Technical Skill: Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, particularly lookups, pivot tables, charting.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to develop consultative approach to meet analytical needs of the client. Leverage this skill to develop and present plan reviews that focus on telling a client’s story with data, which include analyzing product and plan performance and offering solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Creating medical plan review presentations for employer group clients and for presenting those reviews to the client.
  • Analyzing health claims utilization and cost data to identify and interpret trends and patterns and assess medical and economic outcomes, with the goal of delivering actionable insights and potential strategies to decision-makers.
  • Partnering closely with other teams (account management, pharmacy, clinical, etc) to create a holistic plan review for clients.
