  • A minimum of five years of previous experience in pipeline quality assurance and quality control.
  • Extensive knowledge of quality control requirements in the energy sector.
  • Ability to schedule multiple activities.

  • Extensive knowledge of American Society of Mechanical Engineers, American Concrete Institute, and American Welding Society D1.1 codes.
  • Certified Welding Inspector certification is required.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods while working at a desk and on a computer.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to walk the property and laydown yards.
  • Ability to carry up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
  • Interpret multi-discipline engineering and quality requirements and provide technical guidance for inspection, testing, and quality service activities.
  • Coordinate or designate third-party testing agencies and manage welder qualifications, nondestructive examination, and related documentation.
  • Review or complete all necessary quality-related reports and documentation.
  • Track welding progress using MaxTrax.
  • Manage project-specific civil, concrete, soil, environmental, safety, nondestructive examination, hydrostatic testing, turnover, and client quality requirements.
Desired Qualifications
  • Certified Welding Inspector preferred.
  • Previous experience in a similar role in the heavy industrial oil and gas industry preferred.
