- Certified Welding Inspector certification is required.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods while working at a desk and on a computer.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to walk the property and laydown yards.
- Ability to carry up to 50 pounds.
- Interpret multi-discipline engineering and quality requirements and provide technical guidance for inspection, testing, and quality service activities.
- Coordinate or designate third-party testing agencies and manage welder qualifications, nondestructive examination, and related documentation.
- Review or complete all necessary quality-related reports and documentation.
- Track welding progress using MaxTrax.
- Manage project-specific civil, concrete, soil, environmental, safety, nondestructive examination, hydrostatic testing, turnover, and client quality requirements.
- Certified Welding Inspector preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role in the heavy industrial oil and gas industry preferred.
