Requirements
  • Associate Degree
  • 4+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted

Responsibilities
  • Answer telephone calls; greet and refer visitors
  • Setup and maintenance of Housing and Food Service (HFS) Contracts in eLiving
  • Maintain activity schedule in eLiving
  • Evaluate student preferences and process room assignments for student groups
  • Coordinate special housing needs, such as Resident Assistants, athletes, etc.
  • Generate and process daily reports through various University systems, such as LionPATH, eLiving, iTwo, etc.
  • Create and maintain files, databases, and reports
  • Process payments through Point-of-Sale system
  • Respond to routine and moderately complex questions/issues concerning unit/University policies, processes, and procedures from internal and external contacts and ensure adherence to FERPA guidelines
  • Contact different University departments and units to help assist student inquiries
  • Represent Housing at Admissions or Housing events
  • May assist in the supervision and training of students and assigned support staff
  • Support the planning and coordination of moderately complex projects
  • Serve on various committees; prepare agendas, take and compose minutes
  • Serve as a resource to others on a variety of subjects including office equipment, software application usage, and information processing procedures
  • Normal work hours are on-site, Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., with additional evening and weekend work required as necessary for Housing and Admission events. There is an opportunity for a limited flexible work arrangement with this position.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to use good judgment with sensitive and confidential information; ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines; thrive in collaborative settings; build connections across roles and backgrounds; proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
