Requirements
  • An Associate Degree is required.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • The candidate must exercise good judgment when handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • The candidate must be able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • The candidate must have excellent skills using Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • The candidate must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Successful completion of required background checks in accordance with University policies is required.
Responsibilities
  • Answer telephone calls and greet and refer visitors.
  • Set up and maintain Housing and Food Service contracts in eLiving.
  • Maintain the activity schedule in eLiving.
  • Evaluate student preferences and process room assignments for student groups.
  • Coordinate special housing needs for groups such as Resident Assistants and athletes.
  • Generate and process daily reports through University systems such as LionPATH, eLiving, and iTwo.
  • Create and maintain files, databases, and reports.
  • Process payments through the point-of-sale system.
  • Respond to routine and moderately complex questions and issues concerning unit and University policies, processes, and procedures, while ensuring adherence to FERPA guidelines.
  • Contact different University departments and units to assist with student inquiries.
  • Represent Housing at Admissions or Housing events.
  • Assist with the supervision and training of students and assigned support staff as needed.
  • Support the planning and coordination of moderately complex projects.
  • Serve on various committees and prepare agendas, take minutes, and compose minutes.
  • Serve as a resource to others on office equipment, software application usage, and information processing procedures.
