Overview
The Finance & Supply Chain Risk Management Co-op will have the opportunity to partake in a global initiative that will enable the ongoing financial health assessment of Lumentum’s supplier base, work with global commodity managers & IT to provide visibility to stakeholders and identify potential risks to Lumentum’s supply chain.
The Opportunity
- 8 months - May 2025 to December 2025
Responsibilities
The Finance & Supply Chain Risk Management Co-op’s responsibilities would include but not be limited to the following:
• Assess supplier financial health using D&B analytics.
• Create a cadence and a process for contributing to supplier scorecards on a quarterly basis.
• Support the Supplier Business Review process.
• Work with supply chain and IT teams to make financial health data visible and accessible.
• Perform data validation and data analytics.
Education Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (in progress) with preferred major in Finance, Supply Chain Management or related fields
Desired Skills & Qualifications
• Strong foundation in finance and/or supply chain principles.
• Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office, especially Excel, analytics software
• Understanding of data quality concepts (e.g., completeness, consistency, accuracy).
• Ability to learn new tools and systems quickly.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Understanding of project management (preferred, but not required).
