Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of science, especially chemistry, with understanding of scientific principles and techniques and ability to work well on a team
  • 0-2 years of experience in industrial chemical laboratory.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure manufactured goods are filled, packaged, and labelled appropriately
  • Provide all basic QC analytical functions for raw materials and finished goods
  • Prepare test solutions, compounds, or reagents for laboratory personnel to conduct tests
  • Work quickly and efficiently and stay on task
  • Provide technical assistance for manufacturing processes which require laboratory attention
  • Maintain cleanliness of laboratory and assist with records, samples, and equipment maintenance
  • Assist manufacturing personnel in controlling the release of effluent associated with the manufacturing processes
  • Prepare test solutions, compounds, or reagents for chemical laboratory personnel to conduct tests
  • Complete additional projects as assigned
Desired Qualifications
  • Associates degree with concentrations in laboratory techniques or commensurate work experience or Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of experience in industrial chemical laboratory
  • Any variety of lab experience
