Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Experience leading teams in a formal or informal role
  • Experience supporting data analytics and information technology or experience leading teams in the development of new tools and processes
Responsibilities
  • Lead employees conducting data analytics, developing new & sustaining existing complex models, methodologies & tools, and product managing the technical development of network planning, economic modeling, and airplane performance systems
  • Primary partner with the key business leaders in Boeing IT, Boeing AnalytX, Boeing India Engineering and Technology Center (BIETC), Boeing Research & Technology (BR&T), InfoSys, and any other third party contractors Marketing engages with; responsible for developing and maintaining these key relationships
  • Engages directly with key internal business leaders or customers in Commercial Marketing (VP of Marketing, Sales Support managers, Product Marketing managers, Market Analysis managers, etc); responsible for partnering with internal teams to ensure the tool/analytics is meeting the needs of requesting team and driving alignment where needed
  • Lead an effort to further develop & implement an analytics community across Sales & Marketing to build the ability to collaborate and integrate ideas across the Sales Analytics & Initiatives team and others with analytically focused work on the current Commercial Marketing team
  • Conduit for the Commercial Marketing leadership team on expertise in analytics, IT & tool related initiatives including: support and expertise for new and existing IT projects going through the IT process, lead the shaping and development of the roadmap for new & existing tools, and identifying additional analytics needed for the team
  • Lead the discussions with Boeing Library Services and Supplier Management on new & renewal of current data sources needed for all of Commercial Marketing; work with internal teams on ensuring alignment of needs and priorities
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees; ability to recruit additional talent to the team
  • Attend IT/Analytics conferences for new software and tools that can transform how we analyze and visualize the value of our products in the industry
  • Lead a cross-functional team to identify needs & develop solutions related to data analytics & tools to improve the efficiency of the business
  • Use knowledge of the Sales & Marketing business environment to be able to identify what types of information and tools would enable future success of the team
  • Understand, communicate, provide expertise and lead teams through the various IT, analytics and tools processes (including speaking the language)
  • Ability and desire to work broadly across multiple tools, functions and teams
Desired Qualifications

  • Foreign language proficiency
  • Familiar with airline industry data sources (Sabre global demand data, schedule data (SSIM files), MIDT, etc)
  • Experience supporting the Commercial Sales & Marketing organization
