- Strong understanding of operating-system-level commands in Linux, Solaris, or HP-UX for performance troubleshooting, including NETSTAT, VMSTAT, TRUSS, and OS-level CRS failure messages.
- Experience reading RAC log files and troubleshooting CRS and CSSD-related logs, including OSWatcher and Log Miner for operating-system-level performance issues.
- Understanding of Oracle Database library cache, waits, and latches for troubleshooting locks and performance issues.
- Ability to analyze E-Business Suite concurrent requests and database jobs and recommend SQL profiles or indexes for performance gains.
- Good understanding of tuning Oracle software and middleware, including ADF, SOA, Fusion Middleware, Fusion Applications, and WebLogic.
- Knowledge of application, database, Fusion middleware, and operating-system performance tuning.
- Oracle Database 11.2 or later experience.
- Knowledge of code optimization.
- Background as a developer or database administrator.
- Develop performance-tuning strategies for the existing enterprise environment.
- Train developers and database administrators on tuning techniques.
- Create technical documentation.
- Provide 24x7 technical support.
- Perform performance tuning across application, database, Fusion middleware, and operating-system levels.
