Charlotte Tilbury profits reach £21m as global sales climb to £539m.

Charlotte Tilbury profits reach £21m as global sales climb to £539m. Charlotte Tilbury Beauty has reported a profit before tax of £21 million for the year to the end of December, up just under 15 per cent on the year before, as turnover at the make-up and beauty brand rose almost 11 per cent to £539 million. The company said the growth reflected "consistent" performance across its existing markets alongside further market and channel expansion, notably its launch in Mexico and the debut of the brand on Amazon's Premium Beauty store in the United States. The figures are contained in new accounts filed at Companies House, which also show the company paid no dividends during the year and employed 1,012 people at the end of the period, up about 19 per cent on a year earlier. The company said it maintained its "number one" ranking in the UK among prestige make-up brands for the full year and "continued to drive innovation in the category with successful launches such as the Unreal Skin foundation stick, Exagger-Eyes mascara, and Pillow Talk Big Lip Plumpgasm lip gloss". Since launching at Selfridges in 2013, the business has expanded into 57 markets, employs more than 3,000 people globally and sells through more than 5,000 points of distribution worldwide. These include retail counters, department stores, its "Beauty Wonderland" store in Covent Garden and its own website. The company sells more than 500 products across the skincare, colour, complexion and fragrance categories. In 2020 the Spanish-listed beauty group Puig bought a majority stake in the brand in a deal that valued the business at about £1.2 billion. Charlotte Tilbury is the largest contributor to the make-up division of Puig, which reported record revenues of €5 billion for 2025, with like-for-like growth of 7.8 per cent across the group. Tilbury, the make-up artist who founded the company, told The Times in a recent interview that her ambition was to build the "biggest make-up brand in the world", generating revenue of more than £8 billion. Chanel is currently the largest beauty brand, and L'Oréal the biggest group. The brand is best known for Magic Cream, a moisturiser Tilbury spent years mixing backstage for models and celebrities, and Pillow Talk, which has grown from a single lip liner into one of the beauty industry's most successful franchises. The company claims more than five Pillow Talk products are sold every minute globally. Beauty brands have continued to grow through the cost of living squeeze, a pattern often described as the "lipstick effect", in which consumers forgo bigger purchases such as holidays or designer accessories in favour of smaller, affordable luxuries like high-end cosmetics. The accounts also note that "significant geopolitical conflict emerged in the Middle East" during the year. The company said that while its financial position "remains unaffected, the company shall continue to monitor the situation closely". August 19, 2026

Charlotte Tilbury Beauty arrives in boots stores nationwide in major UK retail expansion.

Charlotte Tilbury Beauty arrives in boots stores nationwide in major UK retail expansion. Luxury beauty brand Charlotte Tilbury Beauty has officially launched in 31 Boots stores across the UK, marking one of the most significant high street beauty partnerships of the year. The move brings Charlotte Tilbury's award-winning makeup, skincare and fragrance collections to a wider audience, responding to strong customer demand and expanding access to the brand in communities that previously had limited opportunities to shop its products in person. The rollout introduces dedicated Charlotte Tilbury Beauty counters in selected Boots locations, where customers can explore the brand's bestselling products, receive personalised beauty consultations and book specialist services delivered by trained beauty artists. Among the products available are some of Charlotte Tilbury's most recognisable beauty icons, including Magic Cream, Airbrush Flawless Finish and the globally popular Pillow Talk lipstick range. Customers will also have access to a broad selection of shades and formulations designed to cater to a wide range of skin tones, ages and beauty preferences. The partnership reflects the continued importance of physical retail experiences within the beauty sector, despite the growing influence of social media and online shopping. New consumer research commissioned by Boots and Charlotte Tilbury Beauty found that many shoppers still prefer to experience products firsthand before making a purchase. According to the study, nearly nine in ten consumers value personalised advice when shopping for beauty products, while a similar proportion prefer to see or test products in-store before buying. The research also revealed that most consumers who discover beauty products online ultimately complete their purchase in a physical store.* Industry observers say the findings highlight the enduring role of beauty counters and in-person consultations in helping consumers make informed purchasing decisions. Charlotte Tilbury CBE, President, Chairman, Chief Creative Officer & Sole Founder of Charlotte Tilbury Beauty, described the launch as an important step in the company's mission to make its products more accessible across the country. She said: "Darlings, my mission has always been to empower everyone, everywhere to feel and look like the most beautiful, confident versions of themselves. I am so thrilled that Cosmetic Executive Women UK Limited. is now bringing Charlotte Tilbury into select Boots stores across the UK this summer - joining forces with another great British beauty icon that customers know, love and trust. "For years, I have received countless messages from people asking, 'When is Charlotte Tilbury coming to Boots?' Well, darlings, the wait is over - we are finally making your beauty dreams come true! Bringing Charlotte Tilbury to people that may not be near an existing Charlotte Tilbury location! Now, more people than ever will be able to experience my award-winning beauty secrets within their local communities. I cannot wait for Boots customers to experience the magic of Charlotte Tilbury for themselves!" The expansion introduces Charlotte Tilbury Beauty to several locations where the brand has not previously maintained a retail presence, including Derby, Aberdeen and the Isle of Wight. By partnering with Boots, one of the UK's most recognisable health and beauty retailers, the company is expected to reach thousands of new customers. For Boots, the addition of Charlotte Tilbury further strengthens its premium beauty offering and supports its strategy of combining sought-after brands with expert beauty services and personalised customer experiences. Alice Rafferty, Director of Luxury Beauty and Cosmetics at Boots and CEW Board member, said: "Cosmetic Executive Women UK Limited. is delighted to welcome Charlotte Tilbury Beauty into 31 Boots stores nationwide. Its customers have long been asking for Charlotte Tilbury, and Cosmetic Executive Women UK Limited. is incredibly proud to bring one of the world's most influential beauty brands to even more communities across the UK. "Our stores are designed to be immersive spaces where beauty discovery meets expert advice, and this launch further strengthens our premium offering. It reflects our commitment to giving customers access to the most exciting and sought-after brands, combined with the trusted expertise they expect from Boots." The launch is expected to drive increased footfall to participating stores and reinforce the growing demand for experiential beauty retail, where shoppers can receive tailored recommendations, professional advice and hands-on product demonstrations. Charlotte Tilbury Beauty is now available in 31 Boots stores across England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man, with customers able to find their nearest stockist store using a dedicated store locator on boots.com. * Survey of 2,000 UK women, aged 18+, conducted by Censuswide - June 2026

Charlotte Tilbury adds a highlighter stick to the Unreal range.

Charlotte Tilbury adds a highlighter stick to the Unreal range. The new complexion stick combines a sheer champagne shade with skincare ingredients and a dewy finish. June 15, 2026, 4:47 pm Charlotte Tilbury expands the Unreal range with the new Unreal Highlighter Fresh, Healthy Glow Stick, a portable complexion product that gives skin a fresh, dewy and glazed finish. The launch also introduces Mini Unreal Blush Healthy Glow Sticks in four shades, bringing the existing cream blush formula into a compact format. The Unreal Highlighter contains 92 percent skincare ingredients and uses Glow-Light Mapping Mesh Tech alongside hyaluronic acid and vitamins C and E. Charlotte Tilbury developed the formula to lift, plump and revive the appearance of skin while adding hydration and a soft focus glow. The stick also aims to smooth and blur the complexion through a light texture that sits close to the skin. The formula delivers a weightless, second skin finish and offers a quick way to add light to the face. Users can apply it directly to bare skin on days without foundation or sweep it over foundation and blush for a brighter effect. Charlotte Tilbury introduces the highlighter in Glazed Goddess, a sheer champagne shade that suits a wide range of complexions. The translucent tone keeps the finish light and reflective, allowing the formula to add glow without creating an opaque layer of color. The product focuses on the connection between makeup and skincare. Hyaluronic acid supports the formula's hydrating properties, while vitamins C and E form part of its skincare formula. Glow-Light Mapping Mesh Tech helps create the reflective effect across the skin. Alongside the highlighter, Charlotte Tilbury introduces Mini Unreal Blush Healthy Glow Sticks. These smaller versions use the same cream blush formula as the full size product and come in a travel friendly format. The collection includes four shades: Rosy Glow, Peachy Glow, Pinky Glow and Cherry Glow. The Unreal Highlighter Fresh, Healthy Glow Stick launches through the Charlotte Tilbury app on June 16. The brand will release it through its website on June 18. The Mini Unreal Blush Healthy Glow Sticks accompany the launch in the four announced shades.
