Responsibilities
- Help define and execute the standards of the learning management system to ensure learning standards and practices at Redwood Materials are aligned across business organizations
- Develop and maintain standardized procedures for Redwood's training program
- Ensure training content is up to date and accessible
- Work with training partners in various organizations to develop and maintain training plans in the LMS
- Work with IT and data analysts to identify opportunities for adding automation in the LMS to tailor the system to Redwood's needs
- Work with Quality Systems Engineers to develop and implement a standard audit review cycle for all training content
- Evaluate current content and develop innovative approaches for improvement
- Establish robust flows between document management and the LMS to ensure new documents are captured in the LMS and disseminated to affected employees in a timely manner
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in engineering, technical writing or other relevant field (equivalent experience considered)
- Experience in learning management systems and/or document control, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Previous experience with ISO9001 preferred
- Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products such as Word and Sharepoint
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at a time
- Ability to work in an ambiguous environment without predefined standards
- Ability to execute with a calm and collaborative urgency
