What you’ll do
Our Travel team works with healthy, under-performing and distressed companies across a variety of urgent, high impact situations.
We help clients deliver significant improvement in business performance and enterprise value across all subsectors within the travel industry through five key areas: revenue growth, profit improvement, cash management, digital transformation, and organizational effectiveness.

What you’ll need
- ****You must have prior experience in a management consulting or strategy consulting firm
- Extensive and relevant management consulting experience within the travel industry, advising one or more of tour operators, online travel agents (OTAs), hotel companies, cruise companies, holiday parks or other operators, preferably with a mix of consulting and industry roles.
- An understanding of the structure of the travel industry, the drivers of change and performance in the sector, and the challenges and opportunities faced by companies in the different segments of the travel sector
- Specific delivery experience and project leadership in operational improvement including but not limited to:
- Commercial areas (product development, pricing and revenue management, distribution channels, marketing, customer contact centres).
- Target Operating Model and Organisational Design.
- Direct and indirect procurement.
- Understanding of reservation systems.
- Demonstrable track record in achieving implementation oriented, qualitative solutions across multiple workstreams.
- Deep understanding of business issues and the ability to communicate them effectively to programme leaders and clients.
- Willingness to build professional and personal growth by working in high-impact situations under time-pressure.
- Outstanding analytical and critical thinking skills along with strong financial literacy.
- Passion for the travel industry and a contributor to / participant in industry events / conferences.
- Excellent relationship ownership and management with c-suite stakeholders while achieving results.
- Demonstrable track record of successfully leading project and client teams on complex projects
- Record of involvement in managing and driving account plans, business development activities and developing client proposals
- A network of Executives in the travel industry from roles in consulting and/or industry
- Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and executive-level presentation skills.
- Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of an additional language would be advantageous.
- Willingness to travel, sometimes at short notice.
Education Requirements
- Master’s degree and / or an MBA, and evidence of a strong academic record.
- A degree in Business, Finance or Engineering is preferable but not essential.
