- Successfully complete the minimum qualification and experience requirements approved by Transport Canada to act as an Air Traffic Services Instructor before delivering Air Traffic Services content.
- Have working knowledge of International Civil Aviation Organization and/or Transport Canada air traffic control regulations.
- Have a minimum of three years of experience in an Air Traffic Services operational position.

- Conduct simulator sessions in accordance with customer Standard Operating Procedures.
- Act as an invigilator for theoretical examinations, simulator examinations, and progress checks.
- Complete client training records accurately and comprehensively to ensure client understanding and a seamless handover to other instructors.
- Recommend remedial training when a client is not meeting required training progress.
- Record simulator usage and discrepancies using established procedures.
- Participate in update or refresher training related to Air Traffic Services or instructional principles as required.
- Act as a subject matter expert and contribute to the continuous improvement of curricula, courseware, and training processes.
- Have prior experience working in Canada as a Flight Service Specialist, Tower Controller, or Instrument Flight Rules Controller.
- Have prior experience working as an instructor.
- Hold an existing instructor qualification issued by a recognized regulatory authority.

CAE reported first quarter fiscal 2027 results with revenue of $1,173.4 million, up 6.8% year-over-year from $1,098.6 million. Earnings per share declined to $0.10 from $0.18 in the prior year, whilst adjusted EPS remained flat at $0.26. The Montreal-based company generated free cash flow of $104.0 million and maintained a net debt-to-adjusted EBITDA ratio of 2.27x. Civil Aviation revenue rose 5.6% to $641.6 million, though profitability decreased. Defence and Security revenue increased 8.3% to $531.8 million with continued margin expansion. CAE's transformation plan progressed during the quarter, including a review of strategic alternatives for Flightscape and plans to close four to six Civil training centres. The company targets $125 million to $150 million in annual transformation run-rate savings by fiscal 2030. Management maintained its unchanged fiscal 2027 outlook.
CAE reported Q4 earnings of $0.31 per share, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.30 per share and marking the third time in four quarters the company has surpassed expectations. This represents a 2.75% earnings surprise, though results declined from $0.33 per share a year ago. The civil and military flight simulator company posted revenues of $967.18 million for the quarter ended March 2026, surpassing estimates by 2.58% and up from $888.39 million year-over-year.
