  • Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in product development within the fine jewelry industry.
  • Proven ability to manage projects from concept to production successfully, with a portfolio showcasing successful fine jewelry launches.
  • Extensive knowledge of jewelry design, gemology, materials, and manufacturing processes - including CAD design software and other relevant tools used in product development.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of effectively liaising with designers, suppliers, and production teams.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the entire product development process from concept to final sample approval, ensuring timely completion aligned with development calendars.
  • Collaborate with design, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure product concepts are feasible, meet quality standards, and align with brand aesthetics.
  • Coordinate and meet on-site with internal staff, as well as suppliers and manufacturers to develop prototypes and production samples, ensuring materials and craftsmanship meet required standards as needed.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor products, and consumer preferences to inform product development strategies and maintain the brand’s competitive edge.
  • Present product development updates, insights, and recommendations to leadership based on data and industry trends.
