Job requirements
The HR Manager is a go-to person for all employee-related issues. This means that your responsibilities will involve supporting activities such as employee relations, performance management, onboarding & offboarding, and talent management.
People are our most important asset and you’ll be ensuring we have a happy and productive workplace where everyone works to realize our established mission and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Support local and global HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
- Handles all employee relations issues
- Facilitates new hire orientation and on boarding
- Works to ensure consistent Aptia culture regardless of geographic location
- Guide and support staff through the annual performance review process
- Manage offboarding process, conduct exit interviews
- Ensure company compliance throughout human resource management
- Manages HR projects, as assigned
Requirements and skills
- Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Generalist role.
- People oriented and results driven.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases (Workday preferred).
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- Knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- Experience working within a global matrix organization preferred.
- Solid written & verbal communication skills.
- High levels of customer orientation.
- Collaborative, solutions-focused approach to working with others.
- Custodian of company culture, role model of values and expected behaviors.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Word & Excel.
