  • 5+ year's product management experience shipping software in start-ups or at large-scale tech companies
  • Passion to closely engage with data scientists or ML engineers in order to launch analytically technical rigorous as well as algorithmic data products
  • Must have intermediate to advanced experience with SQL. Hands-on experience using data to generate insights and translate them into successful product initiatives
  • The ability to blend user research with data to help build a prioritized product roadmap
  • Data-driven. You always get the data you need, and you can distill it into an insightful story. Most importantly, you use data to drive strategic decisions
  • Technical skills. Have the ability to inform and evaluate engineering decisions and communicate actionable insights with the technical team
  • The ability to zoom out and think strategically and execute methodically

  • The ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment where continuous innovation is desired
  • A willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager/owner mentality
  • Understand the needs of our users, potential users, and the business to define your product area's vision, strategy, and roadmap
  • Own and lead the end-to-end product development process of major features and iterations, including creating high-quality PRDs, and working closely with engineering, design, etc. to bring world-class products to market
  • Monitor and measure launched products and feed insights back into the product development process
  • Be actively involved in defining the strategy for your program. Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair our ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals
  • Innovate - find new ways of simplifying the user experience with new technologies
  • Own your numbers, drive your cross-functional team of engineers and data scientists to set qualitative objectives and quantitative goals - challenging all members to think ambitiously and creatively - and overachieve them
  • Distill vision and strategy for the team, and rally all cross-functional team members. Clearly communicate product plans, benefits, and results to stakeholders
